Still here

First off all, thank you for the notes of concern and well wishes. It made me smile and I'm thankful and humbled to count you all as friends. You all make me feel great and happy to share your company and your friendship.

I'm still here. I've just been very busy. Work and life have gotten quite chaotic unexpectedly these past two months. But I'm okay.

It's nice to have some time to finally sit back, relax, and do nothing at all. Today, I listened to three messages from work, trying to convince me to come in and work over time this weekend. It felt good to ignore those messages and drink half a bottle of sangria while listening to the radio and laying out in the sun. Tonight, I'm going to feast on some smoked sausage and cheese kolaches and finish the rest of that sangria, all while sitting on the sofa in my underpants and watching some cheesy movies. And tomorrow, I'm going to sleep in!

  2. I've been watching some cheesy movies..2010 Moby Dick was AWFUL! and we're gearing up for Megalodon versus Crocosaurus and Titanic 2!!!

I'm so sick of Winter and it's been alternating between 30 below and zero for weeks?

Glad to hear that you're going to have some R&R. Be well, live long and prosper! :)

  3. I was thinking of sending you a note - then you posted. Does that mean we were sisters in another life?

Anyway, if you need help in smoking those sausages....

You’re a big tease, Mr. Eros.

But we’re happy to see you.

  7. I have these wonderful images going through my mind of you sitting on the sofa... Glass of Sangria in one hand and... sausage in the other...

    Is that wrong of me?

Just so glad to know that you are still around Mr Eros...

Welcome back from the real world!

  8. XL, The only thing better than stuffing oneself with sausage and cheese kolaches and sangria is having someone share in the feast! Feel free to join in! I still have plenty left over! Cheers!

Mister E, I just watched Mega Python vs. Gatoroid and it was hilarious! I luved it only because I got to see Debbie Gibson and Tiffany duke it out! I luv cheesy movies!

Scarlet, I'm really trying hard to keep to my "No" New Year's resolution, and I have to say, when I do say "No", it has been a blast! I like having free time to waste and enjoy!

IDV, It's a nice feeling to just layabout in one's underpants, with nothing to do!

    MJ, Thank you.

"Let me entertain you, Let me make you smile"...

    Princess, Not wrong at all!

I actually did have a sausage in one hand and a sangria in the other! Speaking of which, I'm still polishing off that sangria, and I'm feeling a nice little buzz! So if there are any mistakes in my replies, I blame it on the sangria! Sweet, delicious, wonderful sangria!

  9. I am thrilled that you are taking it easy for a few days at least and Sangria is a lovely remedy. I had an awful week at work and had 2-3 glasses of Champagne before passing out. I think it was what the doctor ordered.

Take care of yourself my dear. By the way, have you ever been to New York?

  10. CP, I'm glad you found a good cure for your troubles! Nothing like a cool drink to help you relax and get over a rough week. I hope you're feeling much better now.

I've never been to New York--not counting the two times I had to change flights at the airport. But I've always wanted to see New York City. It's one of the places on my list to go visit.

When I go there, I'll be sure to write up about the experience and take lots of fotos! And if you're planning a trip there, I hope you have a great time!

These sausages are smoked and delicious! And they come wrapped in warm buns with tasty, melted cheese just dripping off the end! It's hard to put just one in your mouth!

  16. Hello my darling! So glad to have you back with us.

I've also been indulging in some particularly awful movies, I can definitely recommend Supergator vs Dinocroc and Anaconda 3 is if anything, worse than numbers 1 or 2. Consider this my public service announcement.

    Keep sayin' no hon.

  17. Savannah, Thank you! All those carbs and calories makes those small treats sinfully delicious! It's almost obscene when we dive right in and indulge ourselves!

Tara, Ha! Ha! It was fantastic day! Cheers!!!

Snooze, Aye, sangria certainly makes me appreciate the couch even more! Esp. when I find myself in that comfortable position and feel a nice buzz from the sangria! It's like floating on cloud 9!

Roses, Those are some great recommendations. Sometimes, the cheesy movies deliver the laughs that make my day!
