What could be a better ending to a wedding? You got to skip all the vows and commitment, and went right to a honeymoon of your own. Or at least had some fun it sounds like. Also, very ingenious how you got back at the Deceiver.Snoozehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05358347075690351485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7906051794067626825.post-45260086372481593682009-10-29T03:25:54.536-05:002009-10-29T03:25:54.536-05:00Kapi x2, Most times I'm a very nice, easy goin...Kapi x2, Most times I'm a very nice, easy going kind of guy, til someone really pisses me off or goes after my friends. Then the vengeful side of me comes out.

You're right about life being funny when seen from afar. That's hilarious about that scheming skank who only managed to delude herself! Ha! I bet the only tricks she can pull off are the ones hookers sell on street corners. I can't stand people like that who try to use other people! Which makes it so sweet when they get their just desserts! What goes around comes around.

Beast, Thanks. It's true. You reap what you sow. Treat people the way you want to be treated. And actions have consequences. Be good to people and people will be good to you; take advantage of people and they'll get you!

I'm hoping that Teacher learned her lesson; that when you cheat with someone's significant other, you don't get a happy ending. And I'm so glad to finally get even with Deceiver!

Ponita, Thank you! I was struggling to keep this story short. But there was a lot that happened, and I had a hard time trimming it down. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

MJ, I do believe houseboys are exempt from Biblical restrictions.

No conga line, but something similar: The Grand March! Everyone links hands and follows the leader around the dance floor.

And it was a very elderly cowboy who led the rest of us on the floor, doing fancy patters and twists, weaves, and spins! That old man gave us a workout for like 20 minutes!eroswingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06678990077292314028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7906051794067626825.post-51949321262780595342009-10-28T15:26:32.644-05:002009-10-28T15:26:32.644-05:00That part of the Bible also says that it's oka... That part of the Bible also says that it's okay to own slaves

I interpret that to mean “houseboys”.

Was there a conga line? The Mistresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07109289531733623207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7906051794067626825.post-50983930726545434292009-10-28T14:52:24.386-05:002009-10-28T14:52:24.386-05:00Totally agree with Mr. Beast's comments, Eros....Totally agree with Mr. Beast's comments, Eros. All those second chances for Deciever, til she reached some kind of tipping point...and then the revenge begins. And it's a very sweet, smart revenge too.

I once knew someone like her, a female student who thought she could get through university by manipulating each student and teacher in turn. She faked breaking down in tears in front of several lecturers - one at a time, and got rather angry when none of them were dutifully manipulated by such an obvious ploy.

As a con artist she had two major weaknesses - first, she thought someone who fell for her lies once would fall for them again, and second, she thought no one could deceive her.

She fooled me once, getting me to help her out on an essay...which she still managed to fail. Then she tried again for another assignment, and I promised to help her out - then avoided her for six solid weeks. Eventually she got a message to me that the hand-in date was a week away and she hadn't done anything, so could I please do what we'd agreed. I ignored the message.

As it turns out, all 19 students were ignoring her messages and she dropped out of the course.

A few months later we bumped into each other in the street and she said she was engaged to be married. She could give absolutely no details about the man beyond his name - apart from that he was rich. I doubted the engagement would last long enough to end in a marriage ceremony, but I never saw her again so I don't know.

It's almost tragic - the story of someone who tries to survive solely by manipulating others, but isn't actually any good at it.Kapitanohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14647896216499813443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7906051794067626825.post-52687770661072401482009-10-28T12:07:49.901-05:002009-10-28T12:07:49.901-05:00Ms BK, (a rose by any other name, aka the lovely S...Ms BK, (a rose by any other name, aka the lovely Scarlet B), Tesla wasn't featured before.
